Feng Shui Conference to be Held in St.
Augustine
Rockaway, NJ - (October 10, 2005) Feng Shui Institute
International (FSII) will be hosting a multi-disciplinary
educational event, "Feng Shui and the Power of
Intention," at the Renaissance Resort in St. Augustine,
Florida on November 4, 5 and 6, 2005. A pre-conference lecture
will be held on Thursday, November 3, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., when
Nancilee Wydra, the most published American writer on western Feng
Shui, will present "Feng Shui and the Impact of Architecture,
Building and Design." Ms. Wydra will also sign copies of her
book, Feng Shui Strategies for Building and Remodeling, that she
co-authored with architect Lenore Baigleman. The presentation is
free to the public but pre-registration is required due to limited
space.
The main conference begins on November 4 at 7 p.m. and includes
a keynote speech by Ms. Wydra, "Intention and the Catalyst
for Healing and Actualization." Events on Saturday and
Sunday, November 5 and 6 include "Reading the Language of
Spaces with Symbolic Geometry" with sacred geometry expert
Richard Feather Anderson, and "Harnessing the Power of the
Lunar Phases," with professional astrologer June Crane.
Saturday evening's workshop (6 - 9 p.m.), "Putting Neuro-Architecture
to Work," with visionary designer Beverly Payeff Masey, is
also offered as a standalone workshop for $99. Ms. Masey will
highlight neuroscientific discoveries in a presentation developed
specifically for architects, designers, feng shui consultants, and
anyone else interested in "neuro-architecture", an
important new field emerging from collaboration between
neuroscientists and the architecture and design communities. She
will reveal the latest findings about specific ways new
brain-sciences can enable design practitioners to boost insight
into their clients while simultaneously increasing control over
design projects.
The conference price is $398 and discounts are offered for
students or groups. Seating is limited and pre-registration is
requested. For further information about the conference,
pre-conference lecture, or Ms. Masey's workshop, please visit
