DESIGN
PROFESSIONALS RECEIVE HIGHEST AWARDS
FROM MAJOR FENG SHUI ORGANIZATION
ROCKAWAY, NJ - (December 5,
2005) International interior designer Beverly Payeff
Masey (New York, NY) and environmental designer and educator
Richard Feather Anderson (Santa Rosa, CA) were recently recognized
by the feng shui community for their outstanding contributions to
the Science of Person/Place Connection and Pyramid School Feng
Shui. Both received
awards at Feng Shui Institute International’s biennial
Conference on November 4th in St. Augustine, Florida.
Ms. Masey was awarded the Feng Shui Institute of America
2005 Visionary Award for her groundbreaking developments in the
field of neuro-design. Her
work connecting brain research to visual perception of the
environment has led to the first applications for feng shui,
architecture, and design professionals, and uses scientific means
to identify the specific set of sub-consciously
processed visual cues that cause each individual to react
positively or negatively to various design schemes. Mr.
Anderson was designated a Pyramid Feng Shui Master and given a
Luminary Award for Reaching Eminence in the Field of Feng Shui,
for his life-long work to clarify its underlying principles and
advance new theories and applications, by interpreting feng shui
through the lens of environmental psychology, symbolic geometry,
deep ecology, and sacred architecture.
